Baker Observatory and the Astronomy Club hosted a public viewing night on Friday, Nov. 5 free to the community. Guests had the opportunity to see the Ring Nebula via telescope at the observatory in Fair Grove, Missouri. This was the first public viewing night since early 2019, and the numbers for Nov. 5 were estimated to be around 400 people over the three-hour opening. The Physics Club and Astronomy Club also hosted a small fundraiser at the event, where guests could purchase refreshments while waiting in line.
