First, I have to apologize for my last column, if anyone even read it. That particular piece went through several drafts - it started out as a completely fictional story where I imagined the conversation between Karl Rove and John McCain as they picked Sarah Palin.
For most, college is a time for trial and error and figuring out the boundaries of society, but this can be a dangerous game when playing with money. Being thrust into adulthood without financial know-how can often lead to disastrous results upon graduation, when buying a house and applying for a job may depend on a sound credit score.
This is in response to the article of the two MSU students who died in a car accident. I feel this article was poorly written and very disrespectful to the two students, family and friends of these students. These two students died over the weekend and the first thing the article points out is that there is suspicion of alcohol being involved.
