Letter: Garretson is a racist

I've had it. Garretson has crossed the last line. He's simply a racist. Does he not take his job seriously? Is there not someone in charge at The Standard to quell this lunacy? I firmly believe that he is out to seek attention. We all know that he's a punk, and punks seemingly always want to call attention to themselves by being overtly rebellious. Point is: any attention he receives, whether positive or negative, is desired by him. It's a double-edged sword as positive attention makes him feel that he's doing a good job and negative attention makes him feel more rebellious and punk. We should just stop reading his columns or hope that someone with authority puts and end to his play-time. If he's trying to be funny, he's terrible at it and should go back to composition classes to learn how to write humorously. But he should know that Comedy Central doesn't hire columnists for an accredited university. Congrat-ulations on making the Standard staff, Garretson, now act like you haven't wasted thousands of dollars on your liberal education by showing us your overt, punk racism. Blowing up immigrants and "Homo Jihad" aren't funny -they're prejudiced remarks aimed at specific groups. And as for the upper staff: stop protecting this so-called "freedom of press."
