Letter to the Editor: Henningsen's letter hypocritical at best

I find it interesting that, in his letter "Garretson is a Racist," Cory Henningsen would choose to make his point by attacking another culture - in this case, the American punk subculture.
It should go without saying, but condemning another's culture in an attempt to out that person as a racist is hypocritical at best.
I noticed Mr. Henningsen was a psychology major. As someone who majored in anthropology, I would suggest incorporating some Ant or Soc courses into his education. With a more culturally relativistic outlook Mr. Henningsen might avoid this pitfall in future endeavors.
