The deadline for a ski trip sponsored by Outdoor Ad-ventures to Steamboat Spr-ings, Colo. is Nov.1, according to Campus Recreation GA Wes Ayers.

The trip, which is open to skiers of all levels of experience, costs $480, Ayers said.

"The price includes the charter bus transportation, five-night accommodations in the Rockies Condominiums and four-day lift tickets," Ayers said.

Outdoor Adventures has sponsored a ski trip for more than 30 years, Ayers said.

"This trip has been going on for more than 30 years now, and we always get a wide range of skiers from experts to beginners, so don't worry if you have never done it before," Ayers said.

To register for the trip, print the necessary documents from the Outdoor Adventures Web site and bring them to Plaster Student Union 135.

This Saturday, downtown Springfield will host what is said to be the biggest Halloween Pub Crawl in Missouri, featuring live bands or DJs at all twenty locations, according to Randy Gild-ehaus, Icon Manager.

Wristbands will be available for $15 and on sale all day at Baileys, Big Whiskeys, Trolleys, Marias, Tropical Liquers, and Jordan Creek.

Some pub crawl attendees could be going home that night with a prize.

"There are designated judges from each bar that will go around to the pub crawl bars and hand out prizes for the coolest costumes they see," Gildehaus said. "It could be anything from cash prizes to apparel."

The 20 bars that will be involved are Baileys, Big Whiskey's, Boogie, Bugsy Malone's, Ernie Bigg, High Life, Icon, Jordan Creek, Level Two, Maria's, Marthas Vineyard, Millies, Ophelia's, Outland, Patton Alley Pub, St. Michael's, Springfield Bre-wing Co., Tonic Ultralounge, Trolley's and Tropical Liq-ueurs.

You can enter each location for free after 8 p.m. with an official pub crawl wristband, or purchase your wristband at the door. Attendance for this Halloween is estimated to be over 10,000 people.
