Starting Oct. 1 and every Monday night after, Ophelia's will try to draw in the college crowd on what used to be one of their slowest nights.
Jansen Gibson, a server at the tapas joint, says that the turnout so far has been pretty good.
"Monday nights have always been one of our slower nights," Gibson said. "It's nice to be able to cater to everyone's style."
During College Night at Ophelia's, the restaurant/bar will change the music to what is usually an older classical, bluesy jazz to more contemporary tunes, to suit the age appropriate crowd.
"Sometimes we'll also have live music," Gibson said.
Despite the bar's sophisticated sounding name, Ophelia's College Night won't drain your pockets.
Monday nights hold no cover charge and drink specials include $1 Bud Light and Rolling Rock bottles, $2 well you-call-its, and shot specials all night from 9 p.m. to midnight.
