Let me preface this by saying that I love football. On Sunday afternoons you will find me not at the mall, like many girls, but in front of the TV watching the Chiefs take on whoever they play that week. In fact, I love almost all sports. That said, I hope that readers realize that I am not trying to bash or downplay sports in any way here. To be honest, though, I am sick of reading people's complaints about the lack of student/ fan support at football games. I don't disagree that it is lacking, but I would like to point out that this is not the case with just football. What about field hockey, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, just to name a few, all of which are poorly attended and supported by student fans? Where are the complaints about support in sports other than football? The problem isn't isolated. If people are going to complain about lack of fan support, they should address the overall issue, not just the area/sport that gets the most press.

So.. you're saying that you're sick of hearing about people complaining that nobody is coming to football games, and your solution is for people to complain that nobody is coming to any sports games?
I propose that people quit complaining about attendance to all sports games!
