Hey Ben Johnson, have you ever heard of something called a job? Apparently not according to your open letter to the editor. Did you know that a lot of college students have to work on the weekends because of our weekly classes? Well you must not know that either because your letter is an insult to everyone who has a job during the school semester. So maybe I dislike football that is my choice right? Garretson is right piss on everyone who scorns students for not attending games. I pay to to go here remember? So why talk down to me like I am scum of the earth for not watching a stupid game? This may come as a shock to you, but my parents can not afford my entire college tuition! I know it is crazy; I bet I am the only poor student who attends this school. Do You ever think about the students who are paying all expenses by themselves to come here? I do not have to, although I look up to those who must in order to better themselves. Next time before you open your trap think of OTHER PEOPLE! I do not possess the funds to sit on my ass all day for "FUN" as you call it. Therefore, I apologize from the bottom of my heart for my family being middle class and for me needing a job.
