What's happened with the three players on the men's basketball team is unfortunate.

We won't pass judgment at this point, with the police still investigating, but an image has already been placed, whether it's warranted or not.

The sad truth is that it doesn't take much to develop a reputation.

We believe Coach Hinson is handling this well so far, even if it seems as though he wasn't completely honest about when he found out about the situation.

Apart from that, he seems to be playing this as well as he could be given the information that's been presented.

Until then, it's important to keep in mind every other student-athlete at this university.

No school will go unblemished, but the students representing Missouri State sports have done an outstanding job so far.

There is hardly ever any trouble off the field, and we have excellent graduation rates.

The reputations of the rest of the athletes shouldn't be affected by this one occurrence.

It's true, Missouri State athletes are often role models for young children in the community.

Thanks to the vast majority of student-athletes at Missouri State. You provide a good example to the children watching you.
