Current and former Missouri State University students and alumni will soon be able to publish their works of undergraduate research. LOGOS: A Journal of Undergraduate Research will hopefully be printed by the end of next semester.
Accepting submissions until Dec. 7, any student can send in their original work.
Caleb Stokes, Associate Editor of LOGOS and a graduate assistant of Honors College, encourages any undergraduate student who feels like they have done meaningful work, to submit their pieces.
LOGOS is led by the Faculty Advisory Board and Honors College student editors.
"We really want to give a jumpstart to students who are in the competitive field of graduate school or employment," Stokes said.
"We want Missouri State's best and brightest," he said.
For those who are interested in submitting their work for peer review, students are encouraged to contact the Editor or Associate Editors of the journal.
As of today, a specific date for the publication has not been decided, Stokes said. "We are striving for mid to late of next semester," he said.
"We have had multiple submissions for the journal," he said.
Stokes said the biggest achievement by printing this journal is that they are helping to contribute to archives of knowledge.
Guidelines for submitting pieces in for peer review can be located on www.missouristate.edu.
