Senior Jarred Dixon led the Missouri State men's basketball team to a 66-65 win over Illinois State with a halfcourt buzzer beater.

Head coach Dana Ford's alma mater led for most of the game.

With 7.8 seconds left, senior Josh Webster brought Illinois State's lead down to two.

The Redbirds passed the ball in, but junior Keandre Cook tipped the ball. A scramble in the middle of the court knocked the ball loose, and Dixon picked it up with just over a second left on the clock.

From halfcourt, Dixon banked the shot in, and the Bears won.
