After finishing second in the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational, the Missouri State volleyball team hit the road for the first time in the 2019 campaign from Sept. 3-7.

Mary Jo Wynn has been a part of Missouri State history since she started attending the school. She graduated in 1953, and went on to create women’s athletics programs for the university.

The Missouri State volleyball team entered a new era without former head coach Melissa Stokes on Friday night, and it went swimmingly. The Bears defeated the Jacksonville Dolphins in four sets for their first game of the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational.
