Missouri State University celebrates Fountain Day

Missouri State University's annual Fountain Day festivities were held in Bear Head Plaza on Tuesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fountain Day attendees were able to collect free t-shirts, food, buttons and other items from various organizations and and departments on campus.

While the fountain was turned on at 11 a.m., students continued to pack the plaza as festivities continued throughout the day.

Fountain Day is an annual event, marking the turning on of the John Q. Hammons Fountains. The fountain is turned off during winter months, but is restored each April.
