Today, sophomore forward Grace O’Keefe was named Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league. 

During last weeks battle with the conference opponents, the Evansville Purple Aces, O'Keefe broke the stalemate in the 78th minute. Her long-range, game-winning goal gave the Bears the 1-0 lead and victory at the end.

O’Keefe also led all players in in-game shots with three and is tied for first for shots on the season with 21. 

The Bears will travel to Iowa to play another conference opponent, Drake, on Thursday. 

This will begin their 3-game away stint to which they will return home to Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 2 to play against Valparaiso at 2 p.m.
